I am fairly new to competition shooting and i have been shooting a glock 22 .40
I am starting to shoot a couple matches a month now, and i was wondering if i should stay with a my g22 or sell it and get a g35. Any ideas?
I had a rather disastrous steel plate stage today that really messed up my average. I know it wasn't the guns fault but maybe at little longer barrel would help. Along with a LOT of practice.
So is the Glock 35 worth the trouble?

I'd take the extra money you would have to put into a 35 and buy or reload extra ammo with it; I've shot with both, and although there is a different recoil "feel" with the 35, it's not going to improve your scores to any great degree. Extra trigger-time (live and dry-fire) is what's really going to make the difference.

Well, which sport?
As a generla rule, no. It's not worth the hassle. If you have one gun for carry and another gun that'sall modded up for matches--okay. That makes a bit of sense.
Knowing what I know today, shooting a G35 In Limited USPSA, I'd shoot a similarly equipped G22 instead in a heartbeat. It just doesn't have enough going for it.
1) You're going to change the trigger anyway.
2) If you're smart, you're going to change the sights after the first practice session. GLOCK sights, adjustable or not, just suck.
3) If you do USPSA like I do, you'll have a magwell and an aftermarket mag release on it before you can say "Oh, factory is fine"
So--take the $100 and put it toward a ZEV or Vanek trigger in a G22, buy an ICE magwell, and thank GOD you bought a gun that corners faster than a $2500 Bedel Custom.
