Hadn't seen one in years. Picked it up Friday. Is there a reference on disassembly and successful reassembly?

I'm sure there are others but the gun digest book of firearms assembly/disassembly ( J.B. Woods) is a pretty good one. There published by DBI Books, Inc.

Thank you for the reply. I also found some detailed info on Ithaca's site if anyone else is interested:

Many thanks, Ed Bruner -
Just saw this thread. I have a Model 37 Featherlight that I received on my 12th birthday over 45 (ok, over 48 :) ) years ago.
The take-down guide will be mighty handy!
Thanks again,
Rick

Many popular shotguns are included on this site........... The guy does an excellent job of explaining takedown with pictures.
