Thanks Jaeger for the thoughts... All I got left is 11 more of my favorite Revs after these 12 go...
But ifin' I don't get these lungs fixed I won't enjoy them on this earth after about a year max...So I guess I need ta sell um, ya thinks? :O)
I had ta sick an Atourney on the Federals to try and get my Perm Disability so's I can live long enough to be cured if the Divine Creator allows it to be. Seems I was sota kilt by something that nobody knows the cause was. Other than I put my lifes blood into green clothes, mud, sand, shootin', and many years of Rivit Guns, Blend1, Turco , Chem Lazer Jets, Space Shuttles, and B1B Bombers...now nowbody knows anything about where I was or what I had been told to do....
WHEN my lungs get cleared I may jus' leave this beautiful Arrid Desert and head to Dixie... Dang Yankees kilt me and I din't even know it.
Hell Das Jaeger, I din't mean to dump all that but it felt good hope you don't mind... ;O)

and it gives some of us that actauly give a crap a little bit of perspective as to whats going on with ya . Always Brothers in Arms man , if nothing more than that , you always got that at least . The best way to get through life is not alone , and your not alone . I do hope things start rolling your way though , you NEED it . We sacrafice our bodies for our work our whole lives, then they just want to throw our bodies on the huge pile of greed they through the other bodies onto . I do hope you find some justice in your fight also .

My Best to ya , Jaeger

Hello friends and neighbors // Smokin Gun : Outstanding display, and outstanding card trick in other post ;- )///

Thanks for your service. Reminds me of my grandfather (changed engines in bombers during WWII ) He and three buddies called themselves the unholy four/ could change an engine in four hours.

I disliked selling a few of my firearms in times of need so I feel for you.

I have one of your pistols picked out , but won't bother you with details til after Sept. 15th. (payday). Have added this page to favorites and hopefully first choice will still be there by itself .( I do hope you sell them all quickly)

\\\\\\\One thing will you ship to South Carolina FFL and how much to ship?//////

Estimate is ok

Content, glad to you. I sent you a PM...
S.C. doesn't require an FFL for Black Powder C&B Revs or guns classified as Antique Firearms to the best of my knowledge.
About $25 at the very most to ship even a Walker with insurance USPS Prioity Mail. FFL is another $30...
Tell me which one I'll mark it on hold...hell the 15th is only a week away.

If I was down your way I'd buy one or two myself. But bringing them over the border is just too painful in the paperwork.

Having dodged the Big C a few years back I understand how it can affect a fella. I wish you all the best on this new life journey and hope the ending is a positive one. And FWIW I'll bet that at least a few will sell them back to you for the same or slightly less when the time comes that you're able to look at bringing them home.

I'll take the Spiller & Burr with the "you can buy it back option". Of course the buy back will be less than the sale price, to account for any fondling of the pistol I may do. :)

$200 plus the shipping comes to about $225 or so I would think.

September 8, 2009, 11:30 AM
Thanks Ginormous the Spiller & Bur is yours...and $225 will definatly cover USPS Priority mail, Insurance, and a delivery notification...
Thanks for the chance to see her again, that was one on my last and favored CSA brassers...

You're a good judge of Gun flesh Das Jaeger, as that would be my #1 choice...the action is so dang smooth for a big boy Rev. and accurate as hell. It truely won't hurt my feelin's if it din't sell :O) Got a half a dozen boxes, & labels from the P.O. so's I'll be ready to ship...

The 1861 is 100 years befor my birth 1961, also last revolver Sam Colt was involved with from start to finish. I believe.
Will it come to my home or will I pick up at post office.
When should I look for it.
My mail box is on main road , hope they don't just lean it against the post. lol

Good times ahead I just got a S&W 442 also, so will be busy here. ;- )

I almost went the S&W 327 route, now I have 442 and 1861 for price of 327. I am very pleased. My dad can't wait to shoot em.

Too sweet for words I'm out of town tues. lol

I think this a great reintroduction to CB, been 30 years since I used to go out with a buddy and shoot his .36

If I am not here will they just leave it? Should I get neighbor to be on lookout ?

Smokin_Gun
September 21, 2009, 04:50 AM
Yup they'll leave it. I'm not puttin' a signature required on it just a confermation & insurance...they usually leave it. Unless there's a Dog or three...then they leave a note to pick it up.
If you want I can just mail it Tuesday.

Hello friends and neighbors // saved pics as SG1861NavyColt
I've got it set up like your pic but with 4'' navy barrel .

Everything fits together like it is a set. Did you aquire piece by piece or as set?
Yep I'll likely think of ya everytime I break em out. This revolver has been to Cali. and the closest I've made it is Kingman, not too far from Mojave though.
