Looking for info on pistol brought back from Germany during WWII. Only markings are FR. JUNG & SOHNE - SUHL. Description: falling block action, 9" octagon barrel, finely checkered wooden pistol grip and wooden foregrip, adjustable front and back sites you would expect on a rifle. Cannot measure accurately but bore is approx. 7mm, chamber is greater than 0.4" dia by 1.5" + long. 104973 Have more pictures, but was unable to attach >1.

"...Cannot measure accurately..." Slug the barrel. Hammer a cast .30 calibre bullet through the barrel with a brass rod and plastic mallet and measure it with a micrometer. That'll give you the exact barrel diameter.
You take a fine picture. I'd guess it's a target pistol. A very wild guess though. Single shot target pistols weren't unusual in Europe. Nice piece.
