I'm considering a compact .45 to complement my CZ 97B and I've tentatively gotten the choice down to these two, based in part on threads on The High Road. I likely won't be able to shoot either one before buying and I'm wondering if the Para Ord P12 is worth the extra money. The P12 is a used gun in good condition, with 2 higher capacity mags. The capacity issue doesn't really concern me (12 versus 8 with the EAA), I'm mostly interested in ease of shooting and accuracy. The Para Ord is around $500 while the EAA is around $300. Thanks for any help and advice.

I vote P.O. as I have 2 and love them. Also, spare parts galore are available if needed or to customize.

Ive shot them both and IMO, its up to your preferred trigger choice. The Witness is a stellar little gun...BUL frame like the Kimber polys are. If you want an SA gun go with the PO..if its TDA then go with the Witness.

The carry options/trigger/safety etc on the Witness mimic the 97 for consistancy in CCW style...........

Shoot well
