What are the specifics on pistols?? owning and carrying of them in ohio? any of you legal eagles out there able to help me out on this?? i know i cant purchase them until 21, but are there any loopholes as to having them "gifted" to me? the government has so graciously allowed me to own longarms, but what about me owning a pistol, keeping it at my place when i move out, transporting it to shoot, that sort of thing?? Another long shot is carry, is it absolute that you have to be 21 to open carry? i'm just looking to debunk some of the myths i've heard over the years into fact. If anybody out there knows, i wish ya'd tell me...

Added- Is there any way to have a pistol for a car gun at my current age?

There is no way for anyone in Ohio (other than the elite class) to have a pistol for a car gun at any age.

Re: posession and ownership at age 18-20, see this thread (http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39064) .
