i have been scanning the gunsmith section for a how to do bedding thread or something of the kind. i am new to this and will be using the factory stock as a practice of sorts, i have a remington 700 sps varmint and will be using devcon 10110. any suggestions are welcome as well.

Do a Google search on glass bedding, and you will come up with several links to very good articles on the subject - some with pix, some with video. Make sure you fully understand the instructions before you start. Take your time, and you should have good results. It ain't rocket science.
