I have a page on MadOgre.com that talks about the Guns of The Matrix.

Got an email from the Key Armourer for The Matrix, John Bowring. He says I was incorrect as to the ID of the guns Mouse used. The two big guns he pulls out and then gets blasted... anyways, I said they are Manville Gas Guns, and he said they are custom made electric driven 12 gauge shotguns. :what:

I'd like to get a good hi rez picture of those if someone has the DVD.

I'm thinkin just pause at the spot and then do a screen capture would work eh?

If you have PowerDVD or another good DVD client, there is a little button that takes a screen capture on the player console. It saves the image to (generally) your "My Pictures" folder, as a Jpeg.

My VHS copy is not very clear during Mouses big exit, so I admit I was wrong...

John Bowring said he will send me some pictures of these guns next time he is in his vault. I'd like to post comparison images. The guns and the stills from the movie...
I'm not sure, but it almost looks as if mouses fist is in the middle of the drum mag... if that's the case - then it can't be a Manville. A custom built, electric driven 12 guage.

From what I remember, Mouse's hands are inside the drum.
It looks like a custom job to me.
Have to go and pop the DVD in now...

his hands do go through the middle. They were custom made devices by all accounts I have seen, but I dunno if they are actually capable of firing projectiles.

IIRC in some short/special/possibly in the scene, you can see the cabling that powers them.
