Most of you guys who have ordered from us in the past will be receiving an email shortly announcing our 9/11 discount offer. However, we aren't able to send email to comcast.net, rr.com or cox.net because of Embarq restrictions on our reverse DNS. And some of you haven't ordered from us before and this is a way of getting the word out to you.

To keep it brief, here's the email that is being sent:

Today is 9/11 and if you've seen any network news coverage today, likely you're as mad as I am!

Where's the outrage? Where's the celebration of our effort to destroy the root of the evil that attacked us? Where's the appreciation for the hundreds of thousands of our servicemen who willingly agreed to give their all to defend - not only us - but the WORLD - against [those] whose idea of a cool thing to do is to massacre innocent, free people?

The gang at Missouri Bullet Company remembers who, what, when, and why. We are offering a very special, one-time-only discount of 9.11% to all orders we receive through midnight. If we had a way to restrict this offer to servicemen and law enforcement personnel, frankly we would. But we can't and so the offer is wide open for everybody.

Use this discount code at checkout.

NeverForget

Enter it exactly as you see it and if it doesn't work, don't call us. You entered it wrong and we're busy making bullets.

If you have already ordered from us today, email us and we will credit you back the discount. As with our other discounts, it may not be combined with any other.

We anticipate a huge response to this special offer. As a result, please allow up to a week for delivery.

I love this line. At a time when most people are taking 6 weeks or more to ship, MBC is apologizing for 1 week for delivery.

Just ordered 1500 assorted. I have been ordering from Mastercast, which I'm happy with, and liked the Missouri Bullet site. Stuff looks good.
Looking forward to some reloading this fall and winter!

Placed my order this evening, Brad did an excellent job of getting back to me within 5 minutes of e-mailing him with a question!

Kudos to the quick response especially after a long day of packing bullets!

Not sure I got a discount for today, though. Hopefully it'll be in the final cost.

If I could just get some primers, I'd shoot a lot more MBC boolits. sigh. Heck of a good way to run a business, Brad! Kudos.

Well, yesterday was busy. We got 66,000 bullets packed for shipment today and will be readying another 20,000 or so for today by mail pickup time, so many of you will get your orders Monday or Tuesday. We expect to get the other 350,000 out by Wednesday or Thursday if the Crew doesn't crack under the strain :-)

ps - Jo Ann is already getting testy

Dang it !! Missed it.

While being totally focused on 9/12 (my wife's birthday) I missed the 9/11 discount.

I'm also still very angry and I WILL NEVER FORGET!!! Ya see, I lived in NY City for most of my life (up until 2005) and I was living right across the bay from where the Towers used to stand. That day and the following months are burned into who I am. I saw first hand what those murders did and I'm now seeing a lot of this Nation going about their lives like nothing happened that day. It's just not right I tell ya...

Sorry for the rant.... :o
