Got a great deal on a mod. 65-3 4inch barrel. Bought it from a friend at work for $150. Will do the transfer next Wednesday. Lucked out on this purchase, my local dealer isn't even charging me for the transfer fee.:D

Unless it's shot to pieces, you got a great deal on a great revolver. If it's shot to pieces, you got a good deal on a good revolver. Based on the hoops you have to jump thru, you obviously live in Vichy America.

Transfer? Sounds like the People's Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Here we have to do a transfer even for a private sale.

You list your location as USA. In Texas you would walk out to the parking lot at work, hand over the $150, and he would hand you a gun. Why are you waiting a week and going through a dealer? Paperless transfers are so much more conveinient.
