Don't know if it's been suggested before, but how about a military affairs thread? There are many interesting stories not about guns that end up in the general discussion forum that involve military matters. They are not necessarily about weapons of any kind but can be about logistical and administrative systems. There seem to be a lot of veterans here who could contibute a lot and share information with one another. It would also be informative to those who have never served. Threads about military small arms could remain in the existing forums.
