I just picked up a Supernova, black, 18"bbl, ghost ring sights, and a comfort tech stock. I chose it as an HD shotgun. Previously I was using a Remy 870 with an extended mag tube, but I found the Benelli to handle better, take down quicker, and point faster for me. I'm not putting down 870s or Mossy 500s. They are great guns and anyone using one will be well served by them for years. The comfort tech stock actually did absorb recoil nicely. I could feel the difference. Accuracy is nice with the ghost rings, grouped about 5" for me at 50 yards, which makes me happy. Cost was $440 plus tax. I should note I have an affinity for things tupperware as I am a big Glock fan. I decided to post to let people know who are picking out an HD shottie to consider the Supernova.

You gotta love the SuperNova. It is sweet shooting. My old Savage had to move aside when I got mine. :D I routinely shoot with a couple of guys from work. After I picked up my Benelli, it wasn't long before they both followed suit.

Here are my thoughts (http://www.stu-offroad.com/firearms/benelli/supernova-1.htm) on the SuperNova.

And a couple of items I added to the SuperNova.....they come in handy during the training courses.....Magazine Extension (http://www.stu-offroad.com/firearms/nordic/mag/mag-1.htm).....Shell Carrier (http://www.stu-offroad.com/firearms/mesa/sureshell/sureshell-1.htm).....and a http://www.stu-offroad.com/firearms/tacsling/tacsling-1.htm sling.
