Shot my last service rifle match of the season yesterday. Had my best year ever. Last match had my highest score ever, in league or practice. Guess all that rimfire shooting helped ! Can't wait for next year !!!!!
BTW anyone ever had a case seperate during competition? A little un nerving considering I was using Black Hills Blue for the slow prone. My reloads worked fine. Lake city brass in case you were wondering. Maybe time for a good chamber cleaning!

A case head separation would be due to a case that was reloaded one too many times, not because of a dirty chamber.

A friend of mine was shooting prairie dogs with me, using his Olympic Ultra Match and Black Hills, blue box and had a LOT of them seperate that weekend.

He ended up sending the rifle to the factory for a new barrel because his was worn out.
