I just purchased a Rem700VLS in 260Rem NIB for $500. How long and how many did Rem make, I can't find any info about the VLS in 260. What do you think of the 120 gr bullet for a combo yote/deer bullet. I was thinking of the Nosler 120 BT and the 125 Partition.

I bought a VLS in .243; neighbor has a DM BDL in .260. .260 is a great whitetail round.

I adjusted the trigger on my .243 and free-floated the barrel. Also bedded the recoil lug and tang with Marine Tex. Never really got the .243 to shoot like I wanted it to in the VLS stock, so I swapped it into a VS stock that my .223 came with. The .223 works great with the laminated stock, btw.

Either of the bullets that you mentioned should do fine for deer.
