I have a browning auto 5 that was built October 3 1900 is that good :confused:

No, impossible is a better scenario.
The first Auto-5's were not sold until 1903. If your reading the date on the receiver, that is the patent date.
Post up a serial number and we can give you a very accurate date of manufacture, well with in 6 months.
