For example, .45 Long Colt or .45-70?

Don't get me wrong, drop-tubing FFg for my .45-70 loads is kinda fun, but a couple 30gr-equivalent Pyrodex pellets looks a lot easier to load in that big .45-70 case.

And my two sons are asking me about running Pyrodex pellets in their .44 Remington 1858 revolvers behind Wonder Wads and conicals. Anybody have any luck with those?

Check out Mike Venturino's article "Pyrodex Pellets for Cowbwy Action Shooters" in the new "Hodgdon's Annual Manaul" magazine. There's also some reprints of some great Skeeter articles in there. :)
