Been looking for over a year. I well need to replace the front sight with an original style, re-blue well be in order, 18" barrel, man that's long. This has a steel frame work for the shoulder stock and steel backstrap. Now the wait for the big brown truck.

That is one slick rig! Excuse my ignorance but who made it? It looks like the project revolver that was posted here a few months ago. That was a Walker I think. Hope no "desperados" waylay the BBTT. By the way...where do you live again?

Hi madcratebuilder,

That really IS nice!

Wow...

I'll bet it delivers quite fast FPS with standard Loadings, too.

Very nice indeed...

It is nice isn't it, best looking factory grips I have seen on a Italian. I'm not sure how they are finished. I well strip and tung oil them along with the shoulder stock. I'm not big on a gloss finish unless it's well done like yours.

Nice!!..

I think about shooting one of those.. then remember that I would probably try to hold the pistol in front of the cylinder.. like holding a rifle.. and some glimmer of a thought tells me, that won't be good..

Congrats!

This well be just like my 58 carbine, keep your hands back of the cylinder, or some very heavy gloves.

When I was a youngster running around with that 51 on my hip like I knew something, we were out hunting rabbits in central Texas on fall afternoon/evening.. I think the count was up to 52 as the sun was going down. I was standing in the back of the pickup, taking aim at a jackrabbit that was just outside the glow of the headlights..

took one shot and WOW.. thought I had just fired my uncles Super Blackhawk..

the rabbit got so scared, he ran off.. I jumped down and got into the headlights..

chain fire set off 3 rounds at once.. no damage to the frame, or me, but got my attention..

can only imagine if my off hand had been forward of that cylinder trying to steady an 18" barrel with a shoulder stock.. *shaking head..

Lying in wait to hold up a BBTT near the Portland area... pullin' bandana up over nose as we speak. :D Big, black horse will blend into the shadows nicely as we escape with that fine piece !! How many more days MCB?

OK here is my cartoon bubble. There are a bunch of us reprobates from THR unbeknownst to each other, waiting in ambush for the BBTT carrying MCB new "toy." As the truck rounds the corner we all throw our lassos trying to snag the truck. Of course each one of our lariats hooks on to the hitch of the van and we get dragged all the way to MCB's abode, As he comes out to receive his new toy he notices all of us lying on the ground entangled in our ropes, dusty, with clothes torn to shreds. He gives a shrug and says "I suppose I have to invite you in for coffee now."

Silly messerist... I'm loadin' up the .54 Renegade for bear and seein' if it'll take out the heart of that BBTT's engine.

And here I thought the leather wrist guards the cowboys wore were flash guards just for this sort of gun. Turns out they were to avoid rope burns while lassoing cattle.....

Still, I bet this thing, or something like it, could do pretty respectably at hunting smaller to mid size game at closer to moderate range.

Indeed ! I'd give a whirl at seein' what it'd take down !
