some of these people "defending their property" have been pulling guns of firefighters. This is why i wear kevlar at work, because owning a gun doesn't make someone NOT a moron.

Zip, its doubtful they'd activate the Guard for firefighting duty as bad as the fires are( although why Davis hasn't asked for help from other states' firefighting crews makes me wonder), and as far flung as the houses are, having the Guard patrolling in a law enforcement-type function isnt going to accomplish much either
