My Coonan is what I call one of my "core" guns. Never to be sold or traded. There are no Coonan accessories or parts that I have found available in any searches. At least I have five magazines and a custom duty rig for it from Kenny Rowe.
I even had a .41 on order from the last S.H.O.T. show they attended.
I don't know why they went out of business, too bad.
Would like to get together for some shooting, but too far away.
Cheers,
ts

I HAD a Coonan, 6" barrel. Like the world's worst fool, I sold it several years ago.
I wish I had a time machine, so I could go back and smack myself upside the head.

Cy's sporting goods may have a mag or two . They had afull size a few years back , and a few spare mags . I think Cy kept the gun for himself, but he may still have mags .I'll ask next time I go there.

I am also one of the dummy's that sold his. Had a Model B with the 38 Special conversion kit. Also had a C-More red dot sight installed. Impressive weapon with that red dot! Sold it when I got married. I look at them all the time on Gunbroker and such. But with the magazines in such short supply, not to mention replacement parts for break downs, it's much easier to play with my 10mm 1911.
