Who's got great prices for black powder consumables? I have a Uberti Walker Colt that needs new nipples. I used to could get them from my local Sportsman's Warehouse, but they have recently closed shop in my local town. So, I guess I'll have to buy online. Who's got the best pricing?

Edit: Is it just me, or has the price on these TRESO nipples gone up drastically in the last couple of months? $32 for the set of 6 nipples? I also see that the nipples for Piettas are on manufacturer backorder.

So, is there a difference or are the Cabela's nipples just fine. Heck for half the price, I'll go with Cabela's unless there's a good reason not to.

Hello, checked the link and honestly do not beleive that these nipples at Cabaleas are Ampco Treso nipples.............. possible shop is still your best bet ;)

The linked nipples at Cabela's are steel. They will work but have two significant disadvantages from the Treso nipples:

1) They have a larger flash channel that will produce a less concentrated gas jet

2) The material will erode much, much faster than the Ampco bronze in the Treso nipples; the Tresos will last much longer.

Track of the Wolf sells them under their part number RST-WA for $5.95 EACH.
