Is anyone out there in radioland familiar with the procedure to change the magazine release on a third generation Smith & Wesson auto? I've got a 1076 that someone has reversed (for this righty, anyway) the mag catch so it's on the right hand side (trigger-finger release). Want to move it 'round to the original side so I can use my thumb...

I found the answer (for the record, depress the plunger and unscrew the release button...make sure the plunger does not rocket out and get somewhere where even the cat can't find it).

Next issue: there are separate part #s for the left and right mag catches, so to reverse the mag catch, you need to have the opposite side catch on hand.
