PROPER FORUM!

Hey, Wild - - Let's try to keep our posts on-topic, okay? :)

The Browning Buckmark discussion clearly belongs under Handguns: Autoloaders, doesn't it? But, given your self-assigned title of the original post, perhaps this topic properly belongs in the Gunsmithing and Repairs forum . . . . But, also, you brought up the concept, "...think of the children," which tosses it into the Legal and Political arena.

Since Skunkabilly has chimed in with, "Ahhhhhhhhhh such carbonfibrousity!!!" - - - I'm worried that the correct niche would be Strategies and Tactics.

Kharn: " . . . a dangerous thing. For the local squirrel population." The Hunting venue?

Of course, there IS a shoulder stock involved, so maybe Rifle County is the proper place. . . .

Mumble, mumble. Think I'll go make a limeade.

Interesting project. Beautiful work.

Best,
JohnnyAlreadygotlotsagreyhairGuest

PS: "Stealthmark?" "Buckstealth?"

Stealthmark... I like that one, myself.

Puh-lease don't entertain "assassin" motifs. The silly notion that suppressors are the tool of the assassin alone is hard enough to shake as it is. It's ridiculous that we must risk permanent hearing loss every time we go shooting (and this is by far the most likely danger of using guns), because some people have decided that if it doesn't make a loud noise, it's baaaaad.

I take it that's a holo sight up top? What kinda accuracy is that thing puttin' up?

Yup, it's gotta be good for ya...

Think of the millions of people since 1934 who've ended up with minor to severe hearing damage from practicing with unsuppressed weapons. Instead of a tax stamp, we ought to be able to deduct the cost of a sound suppressor as a Health & Safety device, like a tax deduction for medical expenses. Think of the hearing damage we could prevent.

A stealthmark safety rifle.....
Safe for the shooter, no squirrel within 100 yards would be safe...
