Are you gonna pack while taking the little ones out for Trick or Treatin'?

I'm expecting a pretty high yes vote...

If I was - I would. But then 16/7 carry is my norm.

Also .. the lil ones ........... they growed into big'uns! Yeah, I am that old!!:p

No little ones to take door to door, but will answer the door and be packing.

Well, I don't have littl'uns, and I'm not going trick-or-treating, but I'm going to be packing at the Halloween party I'm attending.

I voted No. I can, but I won't. It is a Benchmade, maglight, cell phone and OC night.

First, I'll be tugging a two year old along with me, not a tactical advantage at all.

Second, the consequences of a missed shot if anything happens are enormous with all the kids about.

Third, lots of cops about on Halloween.

Fourth, most things that look threatening are likely to be pranks. Tonight is a poor night for the radar.

So I decided to go from less than lethal to contact lethal if required tonight.

Most definitely. I will be going out for a short night with the little one and then answering the door the rest of the night. No need to change the routine.

Took my nephew and a shoulder holstered .357 out trick or treating.

Kids are grown up. Did carry answering the door. Then again, I always carry except at work and at the courthouse (if a fire fight breaks out anyone with a gun, not in uniform, is a target).

Never leave home without it. Kids are grown and gone. Always answer the door armed, Halloween or not.

I don't have any youngans either but I did hand out candy at the door ... My Mak was on me the whole time (however it wasn't loaded with silver bullets but there isn't a full moon so I felt pretty safe there).

Yup, I did...I took about 6 of the neighborhood kids trick or treating tonight and my I took my SF, my pepper spray, water & my j-frame.

Carried my Colt 1991A1 Compact last night as I took my toddler out for her first time.
