S. 1774 proposes to do away with the sun set provision in the Undectable Firearms Act of 1988. S. 1774 is sponsored by the following members of the U.S. Senate.
Mr. KENNEDY (for himself, Mrs. CLINTON, Mr. CORZINE, Mrs. FEINSTEIN, Mr. LAUTENBERG, Mr. LEVIN, Mr. REED, and Mr. SCHUMER) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, is any reader the least surprised??
Actually, there aren't any "undectable firearms", but matters of fact never bothered the above named anti-gun stalwarts or other similarly inclined "elected things".
The original bill, S. 1788 I believe, see thomasloc.gov, is scheduled to sunset on 10 December. Like the assault weapons ban, the sun should be allowed to set on 1988's foolishness.
Get on to your congress critters, particularly your senators, especially in the event that they happen to sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee, letting them know about how you feel on this matter.
