Cleaning furnace

Well Guys, I know you all will have some answers. Cleaning the lead pot on a furnace. The rust the caked on stuff I can get out with a spoon. There is the stuff that won't come off, till the pot gets hot. I made a 1000 or so yesterday. They came out good.

If it's a bottom pour,a welder's cutting torch cleaner is awfully handy.
