A friend was given an over and under called a shadow, I heard of it but can't place the manufacture. Can anyone help?

Pretty sure that would be High Standard, they also made a semi auto which I had at one time they have a great looking rib on them.

If it's an o/u then I'd think it's a Nikko. Any chances of getting some pictures of it posted or even a better description?

Nikko and Golden Eagle o/u are some of the best shotgun bargains to be found. The guns were made in the same factory as the Winchester 101 and are virtually identical. The Nikko guns however go for a lot less than the same gun with the Winchester roll mark.
