Leather gun belts?

I might need a new leather gun belt, 1.75 instead of the 1.50 I have. The reason why I'm asking here is because I'm new to gun belts and I have a nice collection of buckles that I have for my current leather belt and don't want to put them all to waste and never wear them again if I get some new leather gun belt with a fixed buckle.

Does anyone make leather gun belts that can have removable buckles?

OK, I'll answer your question: There are 3 principal leather belt makers, any one of whom will make you a very nice as well as a very serviceable belt.

Tucker GunLeather (http://rlcompanyusa.stores.yahoo.net/index.html)

The BeltMan (http://www.thebeltman.net/)

Bulman GunLeather (http://www.bulmangunleather.com/)

I own Tucker and BeltMan. Either one is a beautifully made belt. Tucker is a fancier belt that's made out of thicker leather.

BeltMan looks more like a regular everyday dress belt. Mine is reinforced with a polymer insert. It doesn't look it; however, it's a very strong belt with absolutely no sag.

I have acquaintances who use Bulman; from what I understand, Bulman makes another good gun belt. Just so you know, none of these top quality belts are cheap. You will get what you pay for, though. Hope this helps you out!

I have an Alessi 1.75 belt from back in the day. Lou used Chicago screws to attach the buckle. Any vintage Alessi gunleather is worth what you have to pay for it.

I have a belt by the Belt Man that I wear every day and I love it. Even if I'm not carrying I like to wear it because it's a lot more solid than the typical Wal-Mart belt. It's worth the money.

I have a couple of Galco belts that are comfortable in 1.5" and 1.75". I chose brown leather and the brass buckles are cast, not stamped. I wear the 1.5" everyday. The stitching on the edges to hold the layers together is well done and durable. In short-I love 'em!
