Question about NAA mini's

Thinking of picking up one of these in .22lr as a fun gun. But are they actually fun to shoot? Ive heard alot of guys say that the gun's tiny size makes it very hard to hold and aim properly.
And at the risk of sounding like a big wuss...whats the recoil like? I know its only a .22lr, but being such a tiny and light gun is it mild or does it feel like a firecracker going off in your hand?
Thanks!

The recoil isn't bad at all, and mine is a Magnum. I enjoy shooting mine on occasion, but it does take a LOT of practice to get where you can actually hit something. I can think of guns I'd rather spend my money on, but my NAA will never be sold, and I even carry mine a pretty good bit, mostly as Back-up in an ankle holster. I say buy it.
One more thing, Don't think because it is a .22 it's not loud. They are insanely loud.

Recoil isn't bad with magnum or LR in mine. It is challenging, but fun to shoot.
Unless you need the frame to be smaller, I'd go for a magnum model with a LR conversion cylinder ... they're a bit bigger and obviously let you shoot two kinds of ammunition (actually, .22short, long, and long rifle will work in the LR cylinder, and .22 magnum and WRF in the mag cylinder).
The little things don't have much practical application beyond pest control or as a "get off me" gun ... but then they aren't too expensive either, so if you want one as a toy, and can afford it easily, go for it!

not exactly my definition of fun to shoot... not comfortable to hold.. a hastle to unload and reload, bad triggers... it is a pocket gun... Like a derringer, it is no fun.

I'll agree on the hassle, but with a slightly larger grip (I ordered the ones from the Pug and Mini-Master for mine, and both are a huge improvement) it isn't bad to shoot. Perhaps the triggers vary, because mine isn't bad at all, considering the size of the little thing.

Just bought the .22 Mag mini w/LRconversion last week. My 15 year old daughter had it out back doing a little target practice just fine (using the LR). I found the grips really small, so immediately got a set of larger grips for it (from the Black Widow), which in my opinion makes it much easier to shoot. I did fine at 20 feet with first round of shots with the factory grips.
The BW grips don't effect the size that much, it's still small and light. It's a get off me gun if needed, and handy to just carry around the property It's enough to dispatch any crawly critters. If I'm going anywhere else, I take my Kahr.
I guess for really small/deep concealment you can go smaller with the non-magnum .22 size if need be. That's too small for what I wanted.

doc540, mine came with the folder, I didn't enjoy shooting it with the folding grip myself. But it dies make for easy concealment, and you don't have to buy a holster if you have one.
Kiawah, I also went with the chunky rubber grip, and I'm with you, it makes the little gun a lot easier to shoot. If you want a really tiny version, NAA makes one that will only take .22short ... for the ultimate in concealability.

buy the folding grip
+1 and my "holster grip" has held up for over 20 years now of near constant carry. It gives a full hand grip and folds up nearly as compact as without it. The belt clip allows for many more carry options, too.
It's in my weak side pocket. I figure if I'm fighting some dude off and my right hand is tied up somehow, I can reach the weapon with my weak hand. It's always there if needed.
