Magazine lint covers?

Got the idea while yanking the plastic cover off an IV drip with my teeth on the back of an ambulance....
Say you carry a small autoloader in a tuckable holster, something your shirt covers completely, the most reasonable approach for keeping your mags handy would be to simply drop them in your weak side pocket, but, you don't want to get lint in them, possibly causing feeding problems. Does anyone make a cheap plastic cover that would snap over the top of a pistol mag and keep lint out? you could just pull the mag out of your pocket, grab the plastic cover with your teeth, yank it off, let it fall, and you're ready. barely takes any more time than just pulling it out.
If anyone has seen anything, let me know.

I think I have seen these things for AK mags but not for pistols. I'll look around.

An inside-the-waistband mag holder would be faster and easier to use and, over time, probably cheaper too. Getting a mag out of a pocket isn't always the fastest thing, either.
Seems like you're trying to find a better bucket for the roof leak when you ought to fix the roof...

I have never cared for carrying a magazine in a pocket, don't know why for sure, but I have never been comfortable doing so.
What I did was went out and purchased a nice Gerber Multi-Tool, placed it in a nice black nylon holder and placed it on my duty belt.
Then I took the original Gerber Multi-Tool case and put my spare magazine in it. Because with the label on the outside of the pouch, people automatically think it's a knife.:D
Make sure you place it on the opposite side of your IWB firearm though, or you won't fool anyone!

the holster i'm thinking of using is an IWB design that allows you to tuck your shirt in. with a tucked in shirt I can't very well think of a mag holster that would work, however, the best idea so far is the nylon holster. That is most likelt yo be mistaken for a tool or phone, however, at something more formal where i'm not likely to be wearing anything on my belt (my belt is usually packed with a phone, 2 pagers and several various tools) dropping mags in my pocket just makes nore sence....that is, unless someone makes a tuckable mag holder.

The other alternative is, instead of an ankle holster, is to get someone to make you an ankle mag holder... That's not likely to be much of a burden, should be less troublesome, and relatively cheap.

I think a magazine cover would have to enshroud nearly the entire magazine, since most have holes of one size or another. On the rare occasions when I carry a semi-automatic pistol, I just turn my pockets inside-out to remove the accumulated lint before dropping in a spare magazine.
