Ok this is absolutely off the wall and only remotely firearms related. If anyone thinks there is a better forum for me to ask this on than please recommend it!
I have been introduced to the wonderful world of manual spotlight operation for theater stage productions. The problem with spotlights (or at least the ones I am using) is the lack of a decent sighting mechanism. I have considered a solution and want some input. My solution considered mounting an AA Gun or HMG type of sight on top of the light most likely with duct tape for a trial and then screwing it in. I am referring to the type of sight on something like the Browning M1919 or other rifles with that tall open thing in the rear. Then marking the range for front and rear of stage.
Is this a good idea, besides the fact that the P.C. Police my object to it?
Again I reiterate: If anyone thinks there is a better forum for me to ask this on than please recommend it! Apologies to the mods i just didnt know a better place to ask.
