What is an acceptable amount of runout around the case mouth on a .270 Winchester case? This case hasn't been loaded yet, but it is once fired, and I wanted to know at what point it needs to be brought back into round.

Also, what is the nominal case wall thickness for the same case just above the head where a separation might occur?

I am going to assume that you are reloading your .270 Winchester for plinking and hunting. With this assumption established, I will offer that you will not need to be concerned at all with the runout of the neck wall. The dimension of the case wall just ahead of the web just prior to separation is a pressure dependent. You can have a batch of cases that would separate with one more stiff load while they could last for several more reloadings with mild loadings. So the dimension that you are asking for is a dependent one.

Was the runout before or after sizing......Did they come out of the rifle with the runout? All you can realy do is buy good dies. and don't worry about it. or trade it.
