Hi, does anyone know what screw size and where I could find some to fill the holes on my older remington 700 where the sights used to be?

They're most probably 6-48.

I used the factory sight screws. I took a little off the bottom at a time to get them to seat so that they didn't snag on someting.

Two suggestions if you're still looking. Check you local gunsmith. Mine (Swann's in Jackson, MS) simply gave me the 4 screws I needed. If no luck there, just call Brownells and tell them what you have, and what you need.
