I was just watching the movie Taxi Driver starring Robert DiNiro and I was looking at something in it.

Travis Biclke(DiNiro) has something he makes to attach to his arm so that it propels his pistol into his hand. I think that is a cool device and was wondering if anyone has any sort of documentation on it.

I imagine you use a roller like from a cabinet attached to some kind of gauntlet. Put a high tension spring in to propel the gun and metal strip and some king of triggering device.
