Federal fusion ?

so, i was just at the federal fusion website, checking out the 44 mag bullets i bought. they are talking that the core is swaged, then the copper is "deposited and applied one molacule at a time". so my take on this, is that this is a plated bullet? sound right to you??? my first thought was that it was like most bonded bullets. but it doesn't sound like it to me.

interesting....I used Fusions a few years back in .357 for deer and thought they were just another JSP. From their website it looks like they are very similar to Speer's "Gold Dots".
