It is a Case 6259 D. It is your basic trapper style, but damascus. It has a yellow bone handle etched with a snakeskin pattern. It is in great shape (90 %) and it is a limited run. I think there were only 300 or so made. I can't seem to find info on this knife anywhere now. I got it several years ago as a gift.

Do you have the box and papers?
Has it ever been sharpened?
Do you have pictures? No offense intended, but one man's 90% condition folder is another man's 80% so pictures can be important.
Other Case damascus/colored bone trappers go new in box for under $150. In anything but NIB condition for a recent limited run knife you can expect to loose 30% of the value. If it's been sharpened you'll loose another 10% to 50% depending upon the condition the sharpening left it.

Thanks HSO. It has been resharpend. It's box and papers are no longer available. I was just wondering since I can't find any mention of it on Case's site.

You can try these guys: Case Collectors Club (http://www.wrcase.com/collectors_club/)
. . . or maybe here: Case Classics Club (http://caseclassicsclub.com/)
And then there's always Blade Forums (www.bladeforums.com/) and Knife Forums (www.knifeforums.com/).
I would say that, somewhere in there, you will find an answer.
