I got to shoot one today. I didn't think I'd ever see one, now I can say I've shot one!

OH yea the BHP in the first pic was Full Auto as well. That was fun to shoot too!

But neither was as fun as the M16 with Beta C mag. 100 rounds of 223 in 1 trigger pull is un-describable

The UZI was fun as well

How was the FN49 on full auto? Could you keep in on target?

BTW, I love any picture that shows a stream of brass arcing out of a machinegun! :)

Even while leaning into it I couldn't keep it on target. After the second round I was well above the taget. But it was so much fun!

That little UZI was crazy! It had to be in the 1200-1400 RPM area, it felt like as soon as you squeezed the trigger the mag was empty. I don't think I hit anything I was aiming at with that (not htat the sights were worth a damn)

... I'd take that FA Browning High Power.

The Micro Uzi... I used to use one that unzipped the mag so fast - you could NOT lift off the trigger before the mag was emptied. A true little burp gun.
A real blast to shoot - but utterly useless as a tactical weapon.

Full Auto is awesome. I never thought I'd ever get to see a demonstration much less get to shoot them. Then, a buddy of mine introduced me to some machine gun collectors and I've been going every year. So far I've got to shoot the following full-autos:

.45 Thompson
.45 "Grease Gun"
9mm Uzi
9mm HK MP5
.380 Mac 11
Several M16's in various configurations
AK-47
Daewoo full auto 12 gauge (had sticker on the stock that said "Ducks Unlimited":)
Browning BAR
Bren .303
.308 HK 51
MG 34
MG 42
MG 74 with a periscope sight
3 different M-60's
FN Minimi Squad Automatic (.223)
2 Browning 1919's (I think that's the model) one water cooled, one air
Browning .50

The ground was wet enough that we could use tracers and incendiary rounds too!!

It's hard to go back down the firing line to my semi-auto's (AR / FAL) after firing those.

Oh yeah, got to fire a Ruger .22 with integral suppressor and CTC laser signt. Very cool.
