Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have repaired the "small spring" issue as mentioned in a previous thread on my Speed Six (the cylinder ejector spring broke), and I am looking to get nice looking grips to help dress it up. Can anyone suggest a company that can manufacture a nice set of Cocobolo/Rosewood grips that will look suitable against the stainless frame. I have seen companies offering similar grips for the Security Six (which was a variation of the Speed Six), but despite whatever small changes may have been evident, I would not want to order a set and find out that it doesn't fit. This is my first handgun- does anyone here have any suggestions? This particular Ruger was converted to .44 Special by Seventrees and I picked it up from a rather desperate mope for 200$...Thanks for your help!

You could give houge a look, they make grips for that in several different woods.

Eagle grips also make some nice looking wood grips.

I doubt Seventrees altered the grip frame in the process of doing the caliber conversion.

But Ruger did.
Hogue, for example, only offers grips for what they list as:
"Speed Six (Serial # Prefix 151 & above)"

What's YOUR serial number prefix?
