Mini-14, ultimak and accuracy

Anyone mounted an ultimak on their mini-14 that can comment on its effect on accuracy. I just picked up a 580 series Mini and want to put an rail on it. I know that the gas block is one of the things that effects accuracy on these rifles, and since the Ultimak replaces the top half of the gas block, I'm curios to know the effect on accuracy.

put one on my ak and then put a dot on it. has worked perfectily without shifting the aim point.
