Well, I put about 100 rounds downrange through my P2000 today, and I like it. That LEM trigger is going to take some getting used to, but it is certainly smooth. It's just a little lighter than I am used to.

Seeing as how this is a DAO trigger, with such a light touch, would you recommend carrying with a round chambered? I do in all my other guns, but they have safties. This is just going to take some getting used to.

As for accuracy, it seems pretty much right on. I shot it a lot better one-handed, because I'm still not entirely comfortable with the trigger.

Carrying with chamber empty means that if you have to use it you'll have to ask the BG to wait a minute while you load your gun !!! Just learn to keep your finger off the trigger. I've heard that the trigger was nice, about 8 pounds and very smooth. I know there are 4 different backstraps but do they come with the gun or are they options ?

Mete is right. Just keep your finger off the trigger.

As long as you carry your P2000 in a quality holster & follow basic firearms safety rules, you should be fine if you carry w/ a round chambered.
