Does anybody have the book Street Stoppers?
What does it contain and would you reccomend it?

NOTE: Don't post here unless you actually have "Street Stoppers".

Yes, I actually had a copy. Even spent my own money. As P.T. Barnum said, a sucker born every minute. Paper was too slick to use for butt wipe, but it wasn't bad as an expansion test medium after soaking in water for 24 hours.

I have it. Purchased it when it first came out. I have not opened it in probably 10 years. I recall that it was kind of interesting reading if you did not think about it. Once you apply some critical thought the info presented, it unravels quickly.

You really are on a tear to start a flame war aren't you?

Your attempts are about as positive as your warnings for members of a public forum not to post.

BTW I do have a copy of the book, bought it when it came out, haven't opened it in years. The only reason I keep this work of uneducated men around is if I ever have to personally show a blissninny the tables where they list 12ga shotgun rounds as having less "stopping power" than a 9mm bullet.

It was a fun read... I would lend it out so much that the cover was beyond dog-eared and the spine broke, spilling pages everywhere. Last I saw, it was held together with tape.
Again, it's an interesting read but it's chucked full of opinions much like everything else.

All the Marshall/Sanow books are obsolete. Bullet designs have changed considerably since.

I have all three M-S books in my library which I acquired years ago simply to be conversant in the information presented.

Books reviews located here:

More reviews of M-S work located here:

Not a review of M-S but a proposed improved methodology:
