Has anyone bought one of the Sigs that is set up for the .357 Remington round and, if how does it perform?

Yea! I think you got your .357's mixed up.

The .357 SIG is a bottleneck .40 S&W pistol round firing a .355" 9mm bullet.

The .357 Rem Magnum is a magnum revolver cartridge using .357" bullets.

It is too long to fit in any SIG pistols magazine or grip.

Then it was they who mislabeled it. The .357 Magnum revolver cartridge (joint development of Smith & Wesson and Remington) is not at all the same as the .357 SIG (which is not even a .357, but a 9mm caliber).

UH!!! The 357 Magnum was a joint venture of S&W and Winchester, not Remington. Remington was with S&W for the 44 Magnum 20 years later and also the 41 Magnum 9 years later than the 44, but the 357 was Winchester and S&W.
