Nice 629-5.

It should shoot just as good as it looks.

Good for you. Looks like the one I used to own.

Hey! Wait a minute!

You're going to love it. My favorite load was 7 grains Unique and 240 grain SWC. Really nice load.

Weaver base, weaver rings. I like the double ring kind of look. They have held the 3200 elite very well.

Great buy! Conratulations!

Here is my current production 6" 629 with the SS Weigand rail (Brownell's, etc.) and a Weaver H2 2 x 28mm scope and sporting the Hogue .460/.500 Magnum backstrap-enclosing X-frame monogrip (S&W Accessories):

Hello peeps! I decided to scope my 629 just in case i use it for hunting, anyway i have a question on how many clicks should i go down at 25yds, when i took this shot i was using a 6'oclock POA so i can be on paper becs i noticed i was shooting a little high if i just put my crosshair dead center. My scope says 1 click is 1/2 inch at 100yds, i was using a 240gr bullet, no rest just kinda my hand on the bench shooting. I just don't want to waste ammo that's why i'm asking, thank you in advance..here is the pic..I think this pistol will be just fine from 75yds to 100yds only..

629's are beautiful guns. I'd like to get a 629 classic when I have a bit more cash. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy something nice with my tax return this year. Right now I'm looking at either a Kimber Stainless II or a 629 Classic/ Ruger Super Redhawk. Great pics BTW.

Hello peeps! well i had to do some math today before i wento to the range yap had to use my HS math to figure out how many downward clicks i have to do to be on paper and holy crap it worked!!just click 24 times, took my 1st shot and boom right on paper i was so proud of myself that i can still do math!!hahaha..anyway here is my target and my simple Pythagorean Theorem solution:evil:..
