I am planning to build a 10mm 1911, for long range competition shooting(national/local class here in norway) and wish to equip it with an adujustable iron rearsight.
I have put Bomar, and STIs Bomar-copy on my .45acp and 9x19mm raceguns, but wonder if they are up to long and heavy use with 10mm loads.
The STI bomar-clone looks promising on my .45acp, but i am only shooting normal IPSC major loads in this gun.
How does the Millet rearsight stand up to recoil?
Ive seen caspians bomar-clone get very loose, and the goldcup/elliason sight seems to fall apart quite fast.
The gun will be shooting a steady diet of 10mm at 200PowerFactor.

any recommandations?

I haven't used this one from Wilson Combat, but, based on my experience with other products of theirs, if you had a problem with it I'm sure they'd take care of it:

those sure look nice, and wilson ususally sells good stuff. but are they worth the extra dollars over a std STI bomar-clone?
