I step into the modern age

Finally stepped into the modern era of PayPal and what did I buy, a Weaver B-4 Scope. What is interesting about it is that it appears to have a Griffin & Howe base. I wonder if it will fit on my 03 w/a G&H base? Anway, for $21 (includes p&p), it's not a bad deal.

Okay, I give up. What's a "B-4?" I googled references to it, but no pics.
BTW, I'm still in the past and haven't used PayPal yet. I even bought a new production Weaver K-4. (Good scope, too.)

The B-4 is a modernized version (if you can call 1944-45 modern - date may be off) of the old Weaver 330 scope. It had better knobs for adjusting the reticle, but wasn't that much better of a scope. It's one of those things you buy and show and have the kids (or new sniping students) eyes bulge out when they see what Gramps had to use. Thankfully we've got Leupold, Schmidt & Bender, Zeiss, and plenty of other superior scopes today.
