I shoot a 50cal T/C Renegade at local shoots and have always used 55g fff Goex. It shoots remarkably flat and accurate out past 100yds (I place in the top 2-3 occasionally....as good as it does on good days, the bad ones have GOT to be pilot error). I shoot .490rbs and use a .010 spit patch in case anyones wondering. My question is, what would the equilant amount of powder be in ff to get the same pressure and fps? I'm not gonna bugger up a good match here, just want to know.

65-70 grs. of Goex will do it. You might find it more accurate.

70 gr of ffg = 55 gr of fffg??? That's almost 30% more powder! I don't think so. Maybe about 10% at the most, but certainly not 30%.
