3" #4 1 1/8oz 1550 fps
Sportsman high speed steel

Any one use these remmys?

They have two 100 ct boxes at wally world for $33.

Or should I just get a case of Kent fast steel?

I used remmy nitro mag #2 1 oz 1330 fps in my 20 and liked it but I did like the kent fast steel better.

I was wanting to use either #3 or #2 kents But I guess #4 would be fine at 1550 fps.

I personally don't care for # 4 steel in any brand. I prefer #3 or #2 if I'm shooting steel. My experience with Remington steel loads has been that their powder tends to burn dirtier than Kent or Winchester. I haven't shot any in a while so they may have corrected this by now. I'd go with a case of # 3 Kent Faststeel for a good all around load.

Thats the plan #3's or #2's but at that price it cant be bad for early season ducks.

Thats a luxury we don't have here in South Texas. Maybe opening weekend and then it's "game on" because they been shot at all the way down the flyway. # 4's are good for Teal also.
