I just received a package from Esmeralda Grips and could not possibly be more pleased. Photos will be posted as soon as my fiance returns with my camera she "borrowed." The grips are Ivory wood with a celtic cross and knotwork pattern carved into them. I put them on a Colt Combat Elite and it completely changed the look of the pistol. I ordered these on THURSDAY and got them on Saturday. Astounding. Below is the text of an email I sent to the maker in thanks.

'Dear Esmeralda,

I ordered a set of Ivorywood grips from you on Thursday. Amazingly, they arrived in the mail today, which is Saturday. Like a boy on Christmas, I eagerly ran inside to open my present.

To be honest, when I ordered the grips I didn't know what to expect. I am not familiar with Ivorywood, and had never seen any of your work in person. All I knew was that the grips looked very nice on the web page and I figured the light wood would set off my two toned Colt. I had read many reviews of your work, and expected them to be very nice. I was not prepared for what awaited me.

When I opened the very well padded box I was flatly astounded by what I was looking at. The wood is gorgeous and the quality of the carving is simply breathtaking. They fit on the pistol like they were always there and turn it into a very classy package indeed. They feel as good as they look. You are a true artist, and I do not resort to flattery often. I truly can not think of any other firearms related purchase that has so completely exceeded my expectations. I will recommend you without reservation to anyone looking for beautiful wood for their pistol and will no doubt order more of your work in the future myself.

A Very Grateful Customer, '

I really like her grips (her too!)
What we really need now is a picture of the grips on your Colt.
Thanks

I've got half a dozen of her grips, all of them outstanding. Celtic look isn't for me, but her Cocobolo seems to have more "grain character" than others.
