Nalgene bottles

SOTech makes a holder for Nalgene bottles. Does anyone have a picture of it?
Also, does anyone else make one that you know of?

I just got a Nalgene bottle in tactically subdued smoke colored Lexan and a tactical black lid. www.thewilderness.com has them. I'm going to get one from them because I can't do really tactical groundfighting moves with a liter of water in my Royal Robbins booty pocket :o

My Nalgene holder is a carabiner (spelling?) hooked thought the cap strap. It then is clipped to my belt or pack. I carried it 10 plus straight days hiking in New Mexico. Very secure, easy to get to. Still using the bottle today during campouts, still has not broken the cap strap.

The carabiner is the method I've been known to use, but I don't care for the way it swings around.
Skunk, tell me how that works out for you, as it looks like a good product and can be purchased in tactical khaki.:D

This is the one I use:

Not very tactical, but it's black. :) I have a Lowe Alpine Contour IV backpack which works well with the above pouch.

sotech makes one, kifaru makes one, and pretty much any gear company will make one if you custom order it.

No estrogen concerns for me though. :D

Hasn't that "study" been debunked? IIRC, there has been lots of commentary on it from the scientific community, not much of it very supportive of the author, her methods or conclusions.

I hope it HAS been debunked!
I have been using Nalgene bottles for camping since 1998 and would love to use them free of any health concerns.
First teflon, now Nalgene ... what next???

I have enclosed a pic of the way you carry a nalgene bottle. Stay away from all the dorky carry pouches. In order to be uber hip 'round these parts you need to use tubular webbing and duct tape and a carabiner. Using this method you can create numerous carry methods. I have chosen the lesser used "little loop" method.
Note: Duct tape may leave a nasty sticky residue on your bottle if removed. In order to deal with this problem one must simply... Get over it. It's a stupid plastic bottle.

Guys,
I just bought a Nalgene bottle for a trip to the sandbox. I found the Nalgene bottle fits perfectly in a Spec-Ops Brand BMD X-4, four magazine pouch. This pouch attaches via a Molle/Pals type system.

LarryW,
No need to thank me, this is what I signed up to do. A lot of guys may look for the thanks, but to me it is un-needed or desired. I want to serve, am proud of what I/we do, but a pat on the back is not needed here.:D
My father told me once, serve for yourself, not for others and you will stay happy. He was right! ;)

I guess that's about half a step better than hanging it off a carabiner by the cap loop, which is about a half step better than just carrying it in your hand. That's probably a great solution for people that don't mind their crap shifting around all the time. I hate load slop, and hanging something freely is not an option.

Techbrute,
I hear ya. My post was mostly sarcasm. I do have friends who carry their Nalgene dangly style while skiing and such. Frankly, I can't imagine having that thing wacking me in the leg all the time.
If I need H2O while I'm on the go I use a camelback these days. My Nalgene bottles mostly roll around in my truck nowadays.
I think the Platypus reservoirs are pretty cool. You can just squish em up until you are ready to refill. Hard to clean, but oh well.

LOL, my friend bought those Platypus reserviors for smuggling rum into sports stadiums.
He likes to buy the $2 Cokes and mix his own instead of the $5 beers. :D

maxpedition makes one. It is pretty cool as it folds up into it's own pouch when not in use(still on your belt). It is made of a nylon mesh. But I assume you are looking for a "tactical" one from you post as opposed to an everyday one.

Only a few weeks until MaxP's Roly Polies are available.
