sp101 ammo question

I have been using winchester 110gr jhp in my sp101 and have been loving them due to how manageable the recoil is, however I can't seem to find any ballistics data on them.
I'm just wondering how far they fall short of other loads in this calliber and if so is there is something that offers better performance with similar recoil?

Check this site out. It's quite interesting. I also see they list 110gr in their testing.

Revolver Ocelot - I remember chrono'ing some of the Winchester White Box 110 gr .357 some years ago. As I recall, they ran in the low to mid 1100 fps range from a Smith and Wesson Model 640-1 and maybe a tad more from an SP101. Since their nominal velocity is 1295 fps from a 4 inch barrel, those numbers made sense to me at the time, I recall. I remember thinking they were in the range of a standard pressure 115 grain 9mm from a 3.5 to 4 inch barrel. Sorry, I don't have hard numbers, but that is my recollection.
My numbers then did not agree with the 2 inch numbers listed on Ballistics by the Inch, FWIW.

thats ok gary, it paints a picture of adequacy for the round, unfortunately the provided link does not include the winchester white box so your word will be just fine for the time being.

If your intended use is their intended use, defense against 2-legged predators, they will do just fine.
