The correct bullet is .307", but .308 carbine bullets work just fine.

Yep ... me too ..... barrel is .308 but that FMJ bullet is .307.
I have got a Lee mould that throws a 85 grn .314 .. am hoping to size that to .308 , even .309 if I had die .. and do some homeloads with hard casts. Might work.

I have a several Lee lube & size dies in several standard sizes and one custom size. I use them mostly on jacketed bullets. Very easy to use just screw the die in the press, snap the punch into the ram just like a shellholder, lube bullet and press it into the die. Put the container the die came in on the top of the die and it will catch the bullets.

30 Carbine bullets work fine, but all the CZ52 bors I have slugged are .310 the smallest I slgged was .309 and one was .311. 88 g JHP Remington 32 cal bullets work great in the larger bores NOT THE .308 bores. SLUG THE BORE TO BE SURE.......... Barry bullets make a 110g .311 cast bullet copper coated that work great and they act more like a cast bullet but you do not have to worry about leading.

I've got a friend with a Tokarev and he uses 110 gr JSPs meant for the .30 Carbine. They seem to work pretty good. Hornady makes a .308 diameter 90 gr XTP, but the Tok isn't as reliable with that bullet...
You can also try Speer 100 gr plinkers...

You said you lube and size can you size .32 bullets

And do you ever use cast bullets ?

I use remington 85g JHP's 32 cal .311 and Berries .311 110g CPL bullets as they are more accurate than the 110g .308 M1 carbine bullets and far more accurate than the XTP's
Do slug your barrel to see if it is as most I have had .310.

I don't load cast bullets much anymore as I can buy jacketed bullets for a couple cents more per bullet and don't have to worry about lead build up in the cylinder or barrel.

Lee will make any size of lube & size die you want for $25 just give them a call. Just tell them what size you want the bullet to be after running it through the die. I had them make me a .221" lube & size die for resizing .224" bullets for loading 5.45x39mm. I also used it to resize some .224" tracer bullets.
I have .224" and .308" lube & size that I use to resize surplus bullets that were machine pulled which left them slightly out of round.

Freightman, do you have any load recipes that you recommend for those Barry's bullets? I purchased some awhile back off of EBay, and decided that I didn't want to shoot them in my SKS and AK for fear of leading, and am delighted to hear that they may work well in the CZ 52. I hope to pick up one next week, I've purchased the Lee dies, and hope to reload some S&B brass. Do you have any recipes that work well with this round? Thanks so much in advance, Richard
